Expertise in Contemporary Joinery
Attractive, Practical & Intelligent
A solid compact material made up of 1/3 acrylic resin and 2/3 mineral loads (aluminium trihydrate), Corian® was developed in the 1970s in the United States by Du Pont de Nemours™
Registered Corian® fitters receive 12 mm thick sheets and moulded elements (tanks or basins). The sheets are then cut and machined. The joins made using adhesives of the same nature become invisible after sanding.
Around 100 colours have been developed, ranging from plain to flecked with varying grains. This is why Corian® fits perfectly into any modern or traditional environment.
Since 1991, when DuPont™ entrusted Image with Corian® fitting and manufacturing of prototypes, the company has researched and developed multiple uses for Corian®.
Corian® is a synthetic material made up of 1/3 acrylic resin and 2/3 mineral loads (aluminium trihydrate). Corian® was developed in the 1970s in the United States by Du Pont de Nemours™.
The main characteristics of Corian® are:
Stain resistant, Solid, Imperceptible joints, Hygienic, Non-Toxic, Thermoformable, Translucent, UV Resistant.
As a forerunner in the field of synthesized materials, Corian® has always maintained its position as market leader when it comes to the level of reliability, research into technical applications, colours and its adaptation to new markets.
Our annual purchase volume of pallets of panels enables us to obtain the best purchasing terms. Since 2002 a quality procedure has allowed us to stabilize our prices, thanks to good management of manufacturing costs. Considering the resistance and durability of Corian®, a Corian® vanity top represents the best quality-price ratio in the market.
The surface is cleaned mainly with a common cream cleanser, such as CIF.
